The only thing more awkward than getting caught making a TikTok in public? Getting caught making a TikTok in public …after getting nearly bulldozed by your stepdad’s car.

This series of very unfortunate events was a reality for Zyn — a.k.a. @weirdhippiebitvh — who found herself so engrossed in lip-syncing along to Taylor Swift’s “Slut!” that she failed to notice her stepfather backing out of the driveway.

“I can’t believe that just happened,” she captioned her now-viral clip of the incident.

While upon first watch, it appeared Zyn — much like Swift — may have served as a mastermind behind her now-notorious video, the car making impact the exact moment she mouthed the song’s most iconic line, she insisted the accident wasn’t staged.

“It was not planned! I did not plan to get hit by the car,” she explained in her new clip.

The incident, Zyn noted, all went down after she took her dog out, the creator opting to make a quick TikTok as she waited for her pooch to finish up its business.

“I had my headphones in, I couldn’t hear anything going on behind me,” she explained in her most recent video. “I wasn’t paying attention to what was going on behind me because I was listening to Taylor Swift.”

Zyn found herself so engrossed in the stylings of Swift’s newly-released vault track that she failed to notice her stepfather and brother getting into the car in the driveway, proceeding to back out into the street while en route to a haircut.

“I’m there listening to Taylor Swift and he just backs into me,” she continued, noting that at the time of recording, she still didn’t “know how he didn’t see me.”

Though her stepfather said that he had attempted to call her name, his efforts at landing her attention failed.

“Maybe it was premeditated, guys, I don’t know … It wasn’t premeditated,” she joked.

While her family may have been able to laugh at the awkward SNAFU, let Zyn’s video serve as a cautionary tale for Swifties everywhere —  wearing camo print can be a very dangerous game.
